This training series equips justice-system professionals to work safely and effectively with people who have opioid use disorder and co-occurring mental health needs. It is designed for law enforcement, probation and parole, corrections, judges, prosecutors, public defenders, and other members of the courtroom workgroup who shape decisions from first contact through reentry.

The Positive Law Enforcement Interaction Training Program is an informational training initiative focused on improving understanding between law enforcement professionals and community members. The program promotes awareness of rights, responsibilities, standard police practices, and safe, respectful interaction during traffic stops and other in-person encounters.
