The Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network is managed by the National Institute on Drug Abuse at the National Institutes of Health. In Phase 2, the Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Core is the outreach arm of the Coordination and Translation Center. Our purpose is to further the utilization and uptake of scientific knowledge to address overdose- and substance use disorder-related issues at every level of the socio-ecological framework—from individual to neighborhood to community to justice and health organizations to policy. As the technical and training assistance lead, we will continue to provide assistance to entities seeking to conduct local research or program evaluation activities, helping with evaluation designs, research methods, and appropriate measures.
